-- Producer, composer and filmmaker Yuri Volodarsky is offering HOT DOZEN Season One, a completed anthology of 12 original songs and 12 music films, for worldwide licensing at MIPCOM Cannes, which runs Oct. 12–15. AFL Productions, LLC controls the worldwide licensing and distribution rights being offered, including TVOD, SVOD, OTT, streaming, mobile, and television rights.
The films travel across countries, historical periods, and imaginary worlds, shifting between drama, comedy, romance, and fantasy. The complete anthology runs 52 minutes.
AFL Productions is offering the property in three forms. The complete anthology is a 52-minute music film for television, streaming, and digital distribution. Each of the 12 films also stands alone, with its own story, characters, and visual identity.

A third version, HOT DOZEN SPECIAL, is in development. It adds a locally selected host, called the Guide, who introduces audiences to each world, country, and era in the anthology. The format is built for local-language presentations and territory-specific hosts, and its format rights are available for licensing separately.
Volodarsky made HOT DOZEN with conventional live-action filmmaking, original cinematography, recorded musical performances, and traditional post-production. He used AI-assisted tools selectively to realize visual sequences that would otherwise have required significantly greater production resources. Creative direction and filmmaking stayed with the human team.
“Technology can make an idea faster and cheaper to execute. It still can’t make a bad idea good,” Volodarsky told the Los Angeles Times.
HOT DOZEN Season One is already available digitally through Vimeo and Bandcamp on a transactional model. The project has been submitted to international festivals, a limited-edition Blu-ray Collector’s Edition is forthcoming, and Season Two is in development.
AFL Productions welcomes licensing discussions with broadcasters, streaming platforms, distributors, content acquisition executives, format buyers, and international production partners. Screeners of the complete anthology and individual films are available upon request. Virtual meetings can be arranged during and immediately after MIPCOM Cannes.
