The Palm Desert dispensary opened its doors on December 8, 2018.
West Coast Cannabis will be the first dispensary to have two locations in the area, and the Palm desert location will the city’s first dispensary. Owner Kenneth Churchill launched West Coast Cannabis Club in 2017 as a medical dispensary but has since transitioned to providing recreational sales. Churchill is excited about the Coachella Valley expansion and is looking forward to sharing relief with area residents, which is the driving force behind why he got involved in cannabis culture: “Even though we’ve gone recreational, a big focus is trying to bring relief to people and help them with sleep, anxiety, and pain.”
Churchill’s company delivers a variety of products to serve Coachella Valley residents, including CBD products that help arthritis pain, as well as other medical products; THC-infused edibles, drinks, and tinctures; more traditional cannabis “flowers” for smoking; and a selection of pre-rolled joints. West Coast Cannabis also provides a convenient and fully-licensed marijuana delivery service.
Churchill has been thrilled with the support that his business has received since opening his Cathedral City shop and throughout the process of opening his doors in Palm Desert, both from the area city councils and citizens alike.
