Wellness Counseling reaffirms its commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and achieve lasting well-being.
-- Wellness Counseling, a leader in holistic mental health and wellness services, proudly announces the addition of five experienced counselors to its professional team. This expansion strengthens the company’s capacity to meet the rising demand for compassionate, accessible, and high-quality mental health care. With new team members now available at the Ramsey and Hoboken locations,
These new additions bring specialized expertise across a range of therapeutic areas, including trauma recovery, family therapy, adolescent counseling, and mindfulness-based interventions. Each of the new counselors is certified in their respective fields, offering both clinical skills and a shared dedication to Wellness Counseling’s client-centered approach. Their diverse backgrounds and focus areas will further enhance the company’s ability to deliver tailored support for the unique mental health needs of every client.
The Ramsey location, a community favorite for its vibrant and welcoming environment, welcomes three new professionals: Cadeena Liou, LAC, Jordan Szabo, LSW, and Elizabeth McCue-Cunningham, LSW. Cadeena, Jordan, and Elizabeth each bring distinct specializations, creating a broadened base of support for clients in the area.
Cadeena Liou, a licensed associate counselor, is known for her work in trauma-informed care. She has spent much of her career helping clients process and recover from difficult experiences, working closely with adolescents and adults to foster healing and connection.
“My practice is rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important healing factors,” says Liou. “I am passionate about providing unwavering support and ensuring that you feel understood, seen, and heard. Emotions are part of what makes us human, and I deeply respect the gravity of the trust placed in me by sharing yours.”
Also joining the Ramsey office is Jordan Szabo, a licensed social worker with a focus on youth and adolescent mental health. Jordan has dedicated much of her career to supporting young people and their families, with expertise in issues such as anxiety, ADHD, school transitions, and behavioral issues.
“Everyone has different strengths that they can bring to the table and something that they can be proud of. It is my goal to help identify, explore, and foster those strengths while accepting and embracing our weaknesses so that we are able to grow,” says Szabo, who also seeks to bring an element of “fun” to therapy. “Incorporating fun into therapy can transform the therapeutic process into an engaging and enriching experience.”
Alongside Cadeena and Jordan is Elizabeth McCue-Cunningham, a licensed social worker with over two decades of therapy experience. Elizabeth works with an array of clients, from children to new parents to seniors, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy and structural family support.
“My guiding belief is:” Your journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path.” I work to empower my clients to embrace their strengths and walk confidently toward growth and healing,” says McCue-Cunningham.
At the Hoboken location, Wellness Counseling welcomes Leah Rosen, LAC, and Kelly Flood, LSW. These professionals bring years of experience in counseling and clinical social work, respectively, adding new dimensions to the services available to Hoboken clients.
Leah Rosen, a licensed associate counselor, specializes in working with children, young adults, and adults as they navigate trauma and grief. Her background in a partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program setting enables her to provide therapeutic relief for individuals and families.
“My commitment to my clients is reflected in my empathetic, understanding, and person-centered approach,” says Rosen. “ I strive to be a valuable partner in their journey toward self-actualization and mental well-being.”
Also joining the Hoboken office is Kelly Flood, a licensed social worker with a background in crisis intervention, substance abuse/prevention, and schools. She brings this range of expertise to young adults and couples with anxiety/OCD disorders.
“I truly believe that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to incorporating modalities and skills into therapy,” says Flood. “I am passionate about working collaboratively to better understand what resonates most with you as we strive towards your goals together in our sessions.”
The addition of these five new professionals aligns with Wellness Counseling’s broader mission to foster mental health and well-being through holistic, accessible services that adapt to clients’ needs. With their fully staffed locations, each offering a wide range of therapeutic specializations, Wellness Counseling is better equipped than ever to support individuals, couples, and families at every stage of their wellness journeys.
