Following Typhoon No. 3 in September 2024, UK Academy Hạ Long took swift action, launching various initiatives to support those affected in the region:
- Construction Aid: The school raised 150 million VND to build a home for two disabled sisters in Quảng Yên, providing them with a safe and comfortable living space.
- Food Relief: With a value of 15 million VND, over 320 free meals were prepared and distributed to elderly residents and affected individuals at the Quảng Ninh Social Welfare Center.
- Student Support: School-led donations resulted in 2200 notebooks, 75 backpacks, and 50 sets of books for students at Vũ Oai Primary and Secondary School.
Demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability, the school also mobilized resources to install a solar energy system valued at 150 million VND in Ba Chẽ, extending power to previously underserved areas.
Acknowledged for Charitable Contributions
In recognition of its sustained community contributions, UKA Hạ Long was awarded a certificate of merit by the People’s Committee of Quảng Ninh Province. During the 2023-2024 school year, the school contributed 200 million VND to support various community activities, positioning itself as a leader in fostering social awareness and responsibility among students.
