Manning Sumner, professional athlete trainer, creator of the No Days OFF® Movement and founder of — Legacy Fit PIT Bootcamps, is turning the parking lot of the Midtown Miami gym into a community safe haven for Halloween festivities and fun. The annual Trunk or Treat begins at 6:30 PM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 77 NE 24th Street.
“We've done this for several years now and it just keeps growing,” Sumner stated. “It's all about community and providing a safe place for kids to go Halloween crazy and have a ton of fun. We're expecting more than 300 kids this year.”
Complete with a fire truck, face painting and a photo booth. the Legacy Fit Trunk or Treat event is a neighborhood favorite bringing together the fitness family of Legacy Fit and the surrounding community, families and businesses.
“The Midtown area is an eclectic mix of people and businesses,” offered Jai Faith, Global Representative for Legacy Fit Worldwide. “The Trunk or Treat Festival brings us all together for a common goal...a sense of community. It's wonderful.”
A variety of vendors in the fitness industry, local restaurants and businesses contribute to the festivities alongside Legacy Fit locations from not only Midtown, but newly opened Coral Gables and soon to open Doral are represented. Boxing with Isaac, nutritional reps and the Legacy Fit Juice bar will also be among the vendors.
Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trunk and children of all ages are encouraged to come in costume.
“Halloween is dressing up and getting candy,” a grinning Faith added. “The Legacy Fit Trunk or Treat Fest is an opportunity for just that, in a safe environment, with friends and family from the neighborhood and the Legacy Fit Family.”
With music, food, and even a Casino Trunk, the Annual Legacy Fit Trunk or Treat is an example of community involvement encouraged by founder, Sumner.
“As human beings we need each other,” Sumner commented. “We see the same faces all the time without knowing who is behind the face. Miami is a big city. This is just one way for Legacy Fit to reach out to the community that we all share with one another.”
A substantial crowd is expected according to both Sumner and Faith. Trunk or Treating begins at 6:30 PM, ending at 8 PM in the fenced parking lot of Legacy Fit Miami at 77 NE 24th Street, Miami.
