Thermalabs Reveals Plans to Grow It’s Beach Presence

Thermalabs, a renowned cosmetics brand, is making a huge leap towards expanding its beach presence.

Cosmetics firm Thermalabs is finalizing plans to introduce a new brand that will house beach tents and related accessories. The mini-brand will be going by the name Tent World, headed by senior Thermalabs employee Ann Spencer. After making a successful run with its introductory beach tent product (launched in December), Thermalabs is apparently inspired to look at the bigger picture. The move to create an exclusive new division that will deal solely on beach tents is motivated by the company’s expansion strategy, which encourages diversifying beyond the company’s primary self-tanning market.

Thermalabs is America’s premiere beach related product manufacturer from tanning products to other beach related products. Its slogan is "Life Is a Beach”. The company is headquartered in New York City, but operates a number of production facilities around the world, with the main center being in Israel. Thermalabs was launched two and a half years ago but has managed to scale the success ladder at a rate not common in the cosmetics industry. Notably, the new firm attained its first 50, 000 customers mark within a year. In large part, this could be attributed to their launch product, original self-tanner, which scored impressively well in the marketplace, and helped the then new company attract much-needed media attention. Original self-tanner featured a cocktail of highly organic and natural ingredients. By leveraging a clever marketing strategy that involved highlighting why this lotion was better than all the competitors’ products, Thermalabs was able to drive buyers in droves to its sales page. The product’s exemplary performance helped set the stage for the success of the firm’s future launches, and cultivated a foursquare reputation for Thermalabs.


Tent World will focus on tents for camping, for the beach, for sports events, for fishing and even for the kids in the backyard. It’ll have it all, providing a central place where all users can get premium-quality tents for a wide range of application. Thermalabs first-ever dive into the beach tents market came in December 2015 when they launched a premier beach tent that was equipped with protection against the sun’s harmful rays, and a lot of other perks that the competition’s products hadn’t realized. This particular beach tent provided the perfect rescue and rest after a long dip in the water. It also could be used at home, while camping, and basically elsewhere outdoors. The product has so far been a success, garnering thousands of sales and attracting consistent high ratings on Amazon.com, the world’s premier e-commerce hotspot.

As part of ironing out Tent World to be a leader in the industry, Thermalabs has already acquired two new top level domains – tent.world and tent.tips. These will be used as platforms where users interested in beach tents can find ideas, tips, instructions and other great information that’ll help them make more informed decisions. In addition to getting these two domains, the company is also planning to roll out a massive online campaign to drive attention to Tent World. As Thermalabs endeavors to expand their beach presence, it’ll be interesting to see how competitors react.
