The Shincheonji Incheon Evangelism Seminar, held on October 6th, drew over 15,000 attendees and 150 pastors, driven by word-of-mouth from previous events. Chairman Man Hee Lee's passionate lectures, along with the church's energetic youth and welcoming atmosphere, sparked renewed interest in the teachings of Revelation.

Sydney, Australia - In the late Joseon period, the first telephone, which transmitted messages via radio waves, arrived in Korea through Incheon. It was also Incheon where the Protestant gospel first entered. Now, in this historically significant city, the wave of proclaiming the fulfilled realities of Revelation has resumed.

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man Hee Lee, hereafter Shincheonji Church) held the 'Shincheonji Incheon Evangelism Seminar' on the 6th at Shincheonji Incheon Church, located in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon. This event followed the 2024 Shincheonji Word Seminar, which drew tens of thousands of attendees in Masan, Busan, and Seoul, and attracted significant attention.

The previous Word Seminar garnered favorable reviews from pastors and believers for its 'gathering of many young people,' 'excellent teachings that even pastors learn from,' and 'lively and passionate atmosphere,' leading to word-of-mouth publicity. As a result, over 150 pastors and more than 15,000 attendees were recorded on this day, with a significant portion of them being in their 20s and 30s. Additionally, around 130,000 people watched online.

Shincheonji Church members lined up around the event venue to welcome pastors and other participants. Their enthusiastic greetings, holding orange balloons and various signs promoting the Evangelism Seminar, drew high interest, with not only the participants but also local citizens taking out their phones to capture the scene.

Shincheonji Church emphasized that the wind of evangelism and the word of revelation would sweep across the nation once again, starting with the Shincheonji Incheon Evangelism Seminar. It is expected to awaken believers who are spiritually thirsty and ignite the flame of evangelism.

Chairman Man Hee Lee took the stage as a speaker once again at this seminar. Having also lectured at the '2024 Shincheonji Word Seminar' held across the nation since last month, as well as the previous day in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, Chairman Lee’s passion continued to impress pastors who attended.

A pastor named Kim, who had been serving in the Presbyterian Church for 20 years, said, "I attended the Word Seminar in Yeongdeungpo yesterday. The Chairman said that those who wanted to hear more should come to the seminar in Incheon, so I came again. I, too, have preached, but after giving a sermon on Sunday, I would be exhausted and need to rest. However, seeing the Chairman continue to deliver the word without taking a break with such passion, I couldn't help but admire him, even leaving my denomination."

Chairman Lee passionately lectured on a wide range of topics, including why the recorded prophecy of the Book of Revelation is important, its relevance to him, and the significance of the 'fulfilled reality' that is essential to understanding it correctly.

Chairman Lee began the lecture by saying, "If what I have seen and heard is wrong or doesn't align with the Bible, write it down and question me about it."

He continued, "The reason I am sharing this word with you is that we must know everything to be with God and Jesus today and believe together. We must be created according to Revelation and this word. You must ask yourself, 'Have I been created according to this Bible?'"

He also sincerely urged, "Let us become one in God. The Word from the beginning is said to be God. We must become one within the Word, so why are we torn apart, divided, and cursing each other? That must not happen."

What also became a topic of discussion among the attending pastors, in addition to Chairman Lee's lecture, was the welcoming parade. Many pastors were captivated by the Shincheonji Church members lined up over a 2.5km stretch from Dongsoo Station to the event venue.

A pastor in his 40s, responsible for the praise ministry in a traditional denomination, confessed, "Because of my usual perception of Shincheonji (Church), I didn’t want to participate in today's event. However, when I was greeted by many young people with bright smiles, even my hardened heart melted. I became curious about what these young people were drawn to, and I wanted to learn more about it."

Additionally, a considerable number of attendees were drawn by the promotional activities for the Word Seminar, which began at the end of last month. Lee, a participant in his 30s, said, "I wasn’t particularly interested in religion, but I was amazed by the bright and energetic young people who came out to promote the event in downtown Incheon. I wondered if I ever had that kind of passion at their age, and I became curious about what motivates them and the source of their energy, so I decided to attend."

Indeed, before this seminar, there had been a car parade and marches by church members holding signs throughout Incheon on the 29th of last month and the 1st of this month.

A representative of Shincheonji Church said, "We believe Incheon, famous for being the first place in Korea to receive electricity during the Japanese occupation and for its slogan 'All roads lead to Incheon,' is a suitable starting point for this Evangelism Seminar. With the power of gathering crowds that Shincheonji Church has demonstrated, combined with the favorable reviews from pastors, we expect the movement of proclaiming the fulfilled realities of Revelation will extend from Incheon and spread as a new wave."
