-- The Pique Lab Gives Back with a PSLE Science Resource Portal
In celebration of its fifth anniversary, the tuition agency has devoted 214 hours to creating this portal
Singapore, 17 September 2018 – With Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) approaching, The Pique Lab Learning Centre has created an online resource portal where students can learn keywords, concepts, and other information through illustrated articles, videos, and downloadable summary guides.
This portal features elements of their Complete Concept Integration™ methodology, a learning method that has helped over 3,000 primary school students attain tremendous improvements in primary school Science. It also comprises close to 50 Science guides, notes and videos. All of these resources are available to the public for free.
Over the past 5 years, more than 14,000 primary school students have picked up valuable Science tips using the learning centre’s website. “We wanted to consolidate our resources into a centralised platform so that we are able to benefit more students. While grades are not everything in life, we cannot avoid the fact that all parents want their kids to do well in life and education is a key enabler. We want to make sure that we help your child ignite a love for Science,” said Mervin Soon, 25, Managing Director, The Pique Lab.
A Goal to Create 10,000 Case Studies
“We are thankful for the support of many parents who helped us reach our fifth year in the business. Launching this platform is our way of celebrating this milestone and showing gratitude. This platform is also part of our goal to create 10,000 successful case studies by the end of 2020. We believe that such learning resources should be made accessible to more members of the community,” added Mervin Soon.
The PSLE Science resources are available to all students free of charge. Parents will need to fill out a short questionnaire to gain access to the materials. To learn more, visit Primary School Science notes portal.
About The Pique Lab
The Pique Lab was started in 2013 by Mervin Soon and Kenneth Mak, two young entrepreneurs who had once aspired to be teachers. During their studies, the two watched other students grapple with memorizing facts rather than learning concepts and skills. This inspired them to create The Pique Lab as a way of changing how Singaporean students learn. Today, their Complete Concept Integration Science methodology has helped over 3,000 students learn how to study efficiently.
