Chrissy Weems is a highly driven interior designer and the co-founder of The Origami Owl. As an entrepreneur and a mother to five children, Weems is excited to have the opportunity to give back to a student. Through the Chrissy Weems Scholarship, one student will receive $1000 to be used toward college expenses. —
The $1000 can be used to offset the ever-increasing costs of higher education, as well as living costs. Through her scholarship, Weems aims to support the education of the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners, and she fully understands the value of putting resources and bright minds in the right places at the right time. She aims to help promote higher education by offering the Chrissy Weems Scholarship.
The Chrissy Weems Scholarship is currently open to any high school senior going into college next year, as well as to college students who are enrolled but not yet in their final year.
Applicants have until February 28, 2019, to submit their essays. To apply for the scholarship, applicants must write a 500 word essay on the topic “Share an adversity in your life that you have fought to overcome and what you have learned from it.”
When applicants are ready to submit their essays, they can simply visit the Chrissy Weems Scholarship website and complete the quick and easy online submission. One lucky winner will be chosen in March 2019. The winner will have two weeks to respond before another winner is chosen.
Weems is thrilled to offer this exciting opportunity to help students offset their college costs. More information, including the online submission form, can be found at http://www.chrissyweemsscholarship.com/.
