-- The Seattle Choral Company, led by Artistic Director Freddie Coleman has announced its 45th Concert Season for 2026-2027.
Founded in 1982, the Seattle Choral Company has become one of the region’s most accomplished and respected choral organizations. They have toured internationally in Australia and Europe, and their work as cultural ambassadors has been commended by the Washington State legislature. The Seattle Choral Company recorded albums have received extensive exposure on the radio and they have recorded soundtracks for Public Television, and NBC, and their recordings have been used in dozens of motion picture movie trailers.
The concert, “Buon Natale: An Italian Christmas,” will be performed on Saturday, December 6th, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, and Sunday, December 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood. There will be pre-concert talk events before each concert, with Seattle Choral Company Director, Freddie Coleman. This concert will feature “Laud to the Nativity” by Ottorino Respighi, “Eight Sicilian Nativity Songs” by Francesco Paolo Frontini, and “Ave Maria” by Giuseppe Verdi. The concert, “Faith, Hope, and Charity” will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2027, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, and there will be a pre-concert event at 2:00 p.m. with SCC Director Freddie Coleman. This concert will feature “Cantata Misericordium” by Benjamin Britten, “Illuminare” by Elaine Hagenberg, “Da Pacem Domine” by Arvo Pärt. The concert, “Rachmaninoff’s Vespers,” will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.at Seattle First Baptist Church, and Sunday, June 6, 2027, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood. This concert will feature “Vespers (All Night Vigil)” by Sergei Rachmaninoff, with pre-concert talks with SCC Director Freddie Coleman.
