Share this news:

Thai AirAsia X (XJ) today successfully relocated its operations to AirAsia's largest hub in Thailand at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport, in its pursuit to provide better convenience and connectivity to travelers.

The relocation was marked with a welcome ceremony for guests arriving on flight XJ761 from Shanghai who were treated to a special celebration organised by Thai AirAsia X and supported by Don Mueang Airport and AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (AOTGA).

From today, Thai AirAsia X will be operating all outbound and inbound services from Bangkok-Don Mueang, providing greater connectivity and convenience for guests travelling onto other Thai AirAsia or AirAsia Group services from the same airport.

Thai AirAsia X guests can proceed to check in at counters 6 and 7 on Level 3 at the international Departure Terminal 1 of Don Mueang Airport. Check-in counters open three hours before each flight and for added convenience, guests are also encouraged to check-in in advance through the AirAsia MOVE mobile app and airasia.com.

While all Thai AirAsia X will operate from DMK airport as of 1 October 2024, four Thai AirAsia (FD) domestic routes will continue to operate out of Suvarnabhumi Airport while also being available from Don Mueang. The routes are to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi and Hat Yai.
