TAPS Media is hosting the first-ever Session Toronto “Taste the Gold” event. The festival will feature gold medal winners from the Ontario Brewing Awards’ (OBAs). For the first time, all available gold medal winning beers will be available to the public and celebrated during this one-night only exclusive event only.Taste the Gold will be held at the Berkeley Church, Toronto on September 13, 4-11 p.m. Berkeley Church is located at 315 Queen St. East. The event will include live music, food and all the available gold medal winners from the 2019 OBAs. Tickets are $50 at the door. and Advanced tickets available at www.sessiontoronto.com are highly recommended as the venue has limited capacity.
The 2019 Ontario Brewing Awards presentations will take place on September 12 at the same location from 7-11 p.m., where awards will be presented in 44 Style categories.
“We’ve wanted to do an event like this for some time,” says Rob Engman, owner of TAPS Media. “ Craft beer lovers will have the opportunity to taste the full winning line-up from the Ontario Brewing Awards. It’s a great chance to celebrate some of the best beers in Ontario along side the proud brewers who crafted them”
The festival is open to all individuals over the age of 19, and visitors will be required to show proof of age as valid identification is to be checked at the door. Upon entrance, along with a specially designed Session Toronto Taste the Gold-themed commemorative festival glass, visitors will receive four tasting tokens. Additional tokens are $2 each.
