As the bootcamp fitness craze gains a stong hold on thousands of fitness enthusiasts across the country, the top bootcamp gym in Miami, Legacy Fit, stretches its reach into South Carolina, franchising a facility in the quiet city of Summerville, just north of Charleston. Scheduled to open in mid-October, Legacy Fit – Summerville will offer the same intense bootcamp style workout that brought the Miami facility to the top of a highly competitive industry.“We knew the Summerville location was perfect for the gym,” offered co-owner, Dominic Mariotti. “As newlyweds, my wife and I thought that Summerville would be a great place to settle down. Scheduled to begin the build out of the facility on September 1, 2015, Mariotti has set the general target date for Grand Opening for mid-October.

It's not a gym where you go to lift weights alone or join a spin class but never meet anyone in the class,” explained Mariotti, a former European Roller Hockey League Champion. “Legacy Fit is about family and trust. We are creating a community that is invested in healthy living and helping each other achieve individual fitness goals, in order to achieve life goals.”
Franchising the number one bootcamp gym in Miami involves much more than digging sand pits and setting up workout stations, however. Founded by pro-trainer, author and entrepreneur, Manning Sumner, Legacy Fit represents a lifestyle following the philosophy or mantra, “No Days OFF”, which is a lifestyle guide written by Sumner in 2012.
“Manning's book, a lifestyle guide really, teaches people how to look at themselves honestly and, by doing so, learning to make the most of every day,” Mariotti stated. “No matter what you're doing, do it the very best you can. Modeled after the Miami facility, Legacy Fit – Summerville will offer several levels of membership, giving fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to choose the level that best fits their fitness goals. Pre-opening specials will be revealed as the Grand Opening date nears.
“Our pre-opening specials will become available around the middle of September,” Mariotti continued. “The Summerville location website will be live by then and folks will be able to sign up easily online by going to legacyfit.com/summerville.”
Mariotti continued to explain that people who sign up for membership during the pre-opening promo will enjoy the discounted pricing for life. “As long as they are a member of Legacy Fit – Summerville, they will get the discounted pricing.”
While the opening date is not defined to the day, the mid-October target is realistic and thus far, according to Mariotti, the creation of the bootcamp gym is on schedule.
