Discounted rates mean that visitors can enjoy prices as low as $127 per night when staying for 6 nights in Grenada. All rooms feature Wifi internet, four poster beds, air conditioning and a view of the Caribbean Sea over to the Grenadines. The hotel is known throughout travel circles as the one that grows its own produce. The stream that runs through the grounds is home to a watercress garden, and a kitchen garden grows salad and herbs for the chef to help himself to.
Opened by Grenada’s then Prime Minister in 2009, the hotel has become a supporter of the local economy by employing local people. It also sources produce from the local growers and fishermen.
“Last year’s summer offer was so successful that we thought we’d do it again. This time we’ve developed it to offer the best possible rates for people who are looking to get away to the Caribbean in the summer. Our guests can enjoy a romantic break, or could even come to take a look at the local wildlife – leather back turtle eggs are hatching on the nearby Levera Beach and our guests are always awestruck to see them make their way to the ocean safely”, said owner Philip Clift.
“Some people express a concern about not visiting the Caribbean in the summer time in case there is a hurricane, but to be honest, there is quite a low chance of one occurring, particularly down here in the south”, he added.
