At Steel City Pops, it is one of our values that we support our local communities. We announced last month that we were launching grab and go service. Steel City Pops is announcing today that during the month of April we will donate to frontline workers that our fighting the Covid-19 battle $5,000 worth of frozen treats. As a small business who has always been supported by our local communities, including many of these frontline workers, we are honored to do our part to bring smiles to their faces during this trying time. —
Medical professionals are facing unprecedented stress now more than ever as the number of COVID-19 cases in the world continues to soar. As the coronavirus continues to spread and fear mounts amongst our communities, burnout and stress will undoubtedly increase, and could have a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of our frontline workers.
This is Steel City Pops way of saying THANK YOU to all the local frontline workers fighting this virus. You are the definition of Courageous. Pete Srodoski, CEO of Steel City Pops, stated, “Your willingness to care for others while risking your own lives reflects upon your strength and dedication. You have inspired us to use our own strength to help others during these trying times.”
