-- Avondale AZ: Southwest Portraits and owner Anthony May is pleased to announce the upcoming tenth anniversary of the founding in March 2016. The studio began in June of 2006 with a customer list of two schools. In the intervening years, the client list has grown to fifteen schools in the greater Phoenix area. Although the studio is largely devoted to photographing schools, the professionals also do wedding, family, children, Little League, commercial, executive, club sports and modeling photography. Images of seniors, families, commercial entities and wedding celebrations are provided by high-quality professional photographers.
In addition to images of multiple groups and individuals, the studio has more than forty years of professional experience in capturing studio and location images. The studio offers additional services which assist in saving historical, faded, torn creased or stained photographs.
In some instances, improving the quality level of images is the course of action by the customer. Using Photoshop to manipulate images, or preparing a collage of images can make it possible to prepare a more attractive display. The professionals are able to add or remove backgrounds. People or objects can be added or removed from one image to another. An image can have contrast or color improved.
Today, thanks to the technology and artistic tools of photography there are many editing, correction and retouching tasks which can be accomplished on existing photographs. An image which is less than ideal can be corrected or altered in many ways. The experts are able to remove evidence of acne blemishes from senior pictures. They can eliminate unsightly stray hairs or smooth out wrinkles in older clients. If the photographic subject has tan lines, these can be removed. Piercings and body markings which are unwanted in the image can be made to disappear. Even clothing can be added or the body shape modified.
