Santanna Mykonos Beach Club & Restaurant —
For many, turning four wouldn’t call for a rebirth but for the renowned SantAnna Mykonos, the timing was perfect. With 2020 in flux, the operators behind the world-famous beach club and restaurant saw the opportunity to compose a new chapter in anticipation of a new season.
In preparation for 2021, the 250 seat restaurant has been transformed with a layered architecture showcasing the beauty of the expansive property. The roof has been raised 5 meters creating a spacious modern experience that begins with the first steps one takes walking into SantAnna.
A fresh market lines the walkway towards the dining area as Co-Creator and critically acclaimed Chef Christos Athanasiadis has taken the kitchen outdoors. The grill station and sushi bars are part of the interactive presentation delivered directly to patrons, who can be seated on islands that extend over the largest seaside salt-water pool in the Mediterranean.
Staff prepare special creations right at the table - from SantAnna’s signature Tzaziki, to a Mediteranean Ceviche completely composed of locally sourced ingredients. The re-imagined menu maintains the dedication to the organic, farm to table concept at the core of SantAnna’s being.
Bold changes are also in store for patrons who enjoy a modern, multi-sensorial experience with a surprise that features burlesque performances on the 9,000 square meter property nestled on Paraga Beach (rated #1 on TripAdvisor). 15 new rooms are being built adding privacy and safety options for the individual islands on the lagoon. And all of this is less than 10 minutes from Mykonos Airport.
Equally innovative offerings are in the works by SantAnna’s creative curators, who will continue to bring in top artists globally - celebrating stories to be musically told across multiple genres.
