SafeOven a simple and highly effective electric kitchen oven and stovetop monitoring system. It is fully mobile phone managed. It sends you an alert when an oven or stovetop has been left on for a longer time. Then you get the option to leave it on, turn it off, or have another assigned mobile phone notified.
SafeOven is suitable for elderly people and children, and busy homeowners. It can be also used at rental properties and in commercial spaces. It is spill, dust, and oil vapor resistant. It is compatible with the two dominant high-current plugs in the US, Canada, and other countries. These are NEMA 1050-R and NEMA 1450-R, both rated for 50 Amps at 250V AC. It has a 1.5 feet male cable and a 1-foot female cable. SafeOven uses Wifi modem 802.11n, and Bluetooth 4.0.
You just need to plug the monitoring unit into a power outlet and plug the other end into your stove. Then pair it with your mobile app. To set up your SafeOven mobile phone settings, follow the included instructions. The app is for free for both IOS and Android users.
Pricing and Availability
SafeOven is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by May 2020. The starting price for one SafeOven is $149 USD.
