-- SaaS Design today announced the general availability of its AI design system, a product that lets an AI coding agent install a complete design interface into a project from one prompt. The release takes direct aim at a problem that has spread alongside AI-assisted development: software that ships fast but all looks the same.
The product includes three parts that install together: a design system of tokens and components, a set of dashboard templates, and landing page templates. Rather than a component library that a developer wires up by hand, SaaS Design delivers a professional, prebuilt design that an agent installs and applies in seconds. The output is the developer's own React, Vue, or HTML source code, integrated directly into their codebase with no runtime dependency and no lock-in.
"Anyone building with AI can ship a working app in a weekend, but they all ship the same gray dashboard and the same default look and feel," said Hannah Wright, founder of SaaS Design. "With our new release, design decisions were made once, at a high level, so an agent can install a system dashboard, and landing pages that look like a whole team designed them, and your app stops looking like everyone else's."
Designed to break the AI sameness
SaaS Design said the core issue is not whether AI can build an app, but that most AI-built apps converge on an identical, unfinished design. Because the system is opinionated, making consistent choices about layout, color, spacing, and typography, the result is a distinct and professional look rather than a generic template. Every screen is built on one set of design tokens, so the design stays cohesive as a product grows from a first screen to a full application.
A complete design, with consistency
The product covers the full surface area of a SaaS product. The design system supplies the tokens and core components; the dashboard templates provide UI and UX design app shells, data tables, settings, and onboarding, and the landing page templates give teams a polished front door. Because everything ships as real framework code, developers keep full ownership of what is installed and how it integrates with an existing app.
Built for the tools developers already use
The install flow is designed to run inside today's AI coding environments, including Claude Code, Claude Cowork, OpenClaw, and Cursor. A user pastes a single line, and the agent fetches the design tokens, writes the components and templates, and applies the system's house style, without the manual setup component libraries normally require. The company has said that the product was designed for founders shipping their product, developers who want real code instead of a UI kit, and fast-growing agencies building client applications that need a professional design on a short timeline.
Availability
SaaS Design is available now through the company's website. Pricing starts at $97 per year for the full system on the Pro plan, with a Team and Agency plan at $990 per year that adds up to ten seats for client work.
