Rydges Ringwood to Join EVT Hotels & Resorts

EVT will commence management of Rydges Ringwood, effective 1 August, after it rebrands from Sebel Ringwood. Located in the vibrant and fast-growing suburb of Ringwood, this high-quality property, constructed in 2021, marks a welcomed addition to EVT’s growing portfolio of hospitality venues, and the sixth EVT hotel in Melbourne.

The decision to award EVT the management contract was influenced by EVT’s local expertise and operational capabilities. EVT’s decision-making teams in Melbourne and Sydney will ensure agile responsiveness to market dynamics, fostering strong partnerships like the one with Serene Capital, the property's owner.

The opening of Rydges Ringwood represents EVT’s strategic commitment to expand the Rydges portfolio and its ‘refreshingly local’ proposition with properties that deliver memorable guest experiences for both leisure and business travellers alike.

The Rydges Ringwood property will include:

  • 103 guest rooms including studios, one and two bedroom apartments and courtyard balconies
  • All rooms feature a kitchen or kitchenette, workspace, flat screen TV, and high-speed internet catering to business, leisure, and family travellers
  • The Orchard Bar and Grill offering a locally soured menu with indoor and outdoor dining
  • Two connecting meeting and event spaces equipped with the latest audio-visual technology
