Persefoni Yacht Returns to Monaco Grand Prix for the Fifth Consecutive Year

The 53.8-meter Mariotti superyacht has become one of the most recognized hospitality vessels at the principality's annual Grand Prix week.

-- The 53.8-meter motor yacht Persefoni has returned to Monaco for the fifth consecutive year, once again serving as a premier VIP hospitality platform during one of the most high-profile events on the international sporting calendar — the Monaco Grand Prix.

Managed by Athens-based Emperio Yachting Alliance and built by Mariotti Yachts in Genoa in 2012, the Persefoni has become one of the most consistently present and recognizable superyachts in Monaco's harbor during Grand Prix week, hosting guests from the worlds of motorsport, business, and entertainment against the backdrop of Formula 1 racing at close range.

Five Years at Monaco — and What That Record Reflects

Consistency at Monaco is not accidental. Grand Prix week places extraordinary logistical, operational, and guest experience demands on any vessel deployed there. The Persefoni's return for a fifth consecutive year reflects the vessel's track record rather than coincidence.

At 928 gross tons across a 10.5-meter beam — volume that is exceptional for a 53.8-meter hull — the Persefoni provides the interior scale that serious event hospitality requires. Six staterooms accommodate up to 12 overnight guests. Expansive deck areas and a main salon designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture of Florence create an environment that transitions naturally from sea passage to VIP event hosting. The vessel's stay at Monaco has previously included hosting the McLaren Formula 1 team — a credential that speaks to the standard of the vessel's operation and management.

The Vessel Itself

The Persefoni was comprehensively refitted in 2023 — a project overseen by Emperio Yachting Alliance that updated mechanical systems, guest interiors, and operational infrastructure throughout. Twin Caterpillar engines deliver a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. A 150,000-liter fuel capacity supports an operational range of 5,000 nautical miles. Zero-speed at-anchor stabilizers ensure the vessel stays completely stable whether positioned in Monaco's outer harbor or anchored in the Greek islands.

The master suite features hydraulic balconies that open directly over the water — one of the vessel's most distinctive design details. Additional balcony access from the main deck foyer extends this open-air connection throughout the yacht. A world-class chef, trained at Spondi, one of Athens' finest Michelin-recognized restaurants, leads all culinary operations on board.

After Monaco: The Greek Islands Charter Season

Following the Grand Prix, the Persefoni transitions into the Greek islands charter season, which runs from May through mid-October. The vessel covers all four major Greek island groups — the Saronic Gulf, the Cyclades, the Ionian Islands, and the Dodecanese — operated by a professional crew of 13. The water sports lineup includes two Yamaha WaveRunners, two F5S SEABOBs, an E-Foil, paddleboards, kayaks, and a Castoldi Jet Tender, all deployed from a dedicated beach club at the waterline.

The combination of a proven Monaco track record, 5,000-nautical-mile range, and interiors by one of Italy's most respected design studios is what has kept the Persefoni relevant across more than a decade of service and a fifth consecutive appearance in the principality's most celebrated week of the year.
