Penny Naoum is expanding Penny’s Serendipity House, connecting hospitality strategy, education, publishing, and human development under one integrated philosophy.

-- UK-based tourism and hospitality strategist, author, and educator Penny Naoum is expanding Penny’s Serendipity House, an advisory-led business built on hospitality and destination consultancy, practical education, and author-led publishing. The connected structure reflects Naoum’s belief that commercial strategy, professional capability, and human growth are strongest when treated as part of the same system.

The expansion brings together work spanning business, careers, education, and personal growth, treating them as connected systems rather than isolated challenges.

Naoum has more than 12 years of experience across tourism and hospitality, including hotel operations, reservations, destination marketing, international sales, partnerships, commercial strategy, leadership, accounting, and education.

“From the outside, my projects may look different. To me they are all the same work: seeing the whole, connecting the dots and turning complex knowledge into something people can use,” Naoum said.

Penny’s Serendipity House, or PSH, brings this philosophy together through consultancy, authorship, and education.

A Career Shaped by Systems, People and Experience

The foundations of PSH began well before the House itself took shape. Naoum’s education includes English teaching methodology, accounting, tourism and hospitality qualifications, and an MSc. Her career began in accounting before moving into hotel operations and commercial and international roles.

Her experience spans reservations, global contracting, destination marketing, international sales, and senior commercial leadership. She has also taught, trained teams, developed learning materials, and created digital training.

These experiences shaped her systems-level view of hospitality, where commercial decisions, operations, team capability, marketing, and education are interconnected.

Periods of burnout and health challenges further influenced her thinking, shifting her focus from isolated problems to understanding the wider system. This perspective became the foundation for Penny’s Serendipity House.

The Consultancy Connects Commercial Strategy With the Bigger Picture

One of the principal pillars of PSH is its consultancy work, supporting boutique hotels, hotel groups, tour operators, travel agencies, destinations, regions, and hospitality projects in development.

The consultancy covers commercial strategy, positioning, international market development, partnerships, pre-opening planning, concept and experience development, team training, and longer-term advisory support.

Rather than treating each commercial function independently, the PSH model considers how different elements interact. Positioning can affect sales, partnerships can influence market access, and team capability can shape the delivery of an experience.

As a practical entry point, Naoum has created the PSH Hotel Commercial Growth Diagnostic. It shows hotel decision-makers how key commercial areas and departments connect, revealing potential revenue leakage or missed opportunity.

The Diagnostic remains available throughout the year and is complimentary through 1 September 2026, with an optional, no-obligation 30-minute Commercial Growth Review for hotel leaders who would like to discuss their results and potential quick-win priorities.

The Serendipity Agenda Applies the Same Thinking to Personal Growth

The second major expression of the PSH philosophy is The Serendipity Agenda, an undated life architecture system designed for women managing significant responsibilities while often placing their own needs lower on the list.

The Agenda emerged from Naoum’s experience of burnout and the frustration of tracking different areas of life across multiple applications and systems.

Its approach consolidates daily lifestyle check-ins into a single offline page designed to take approximately 60 seconds to complete. Built around the S.E.R.E.N.D.I.P.I.T.Y. Method™, it provides structure for people who may find completely open-ended journalling difficult and includes Penny Naoum’s original quotations.

The content brings together health and wellbeing, habits, boundaries, neuroscience-informed reflection, and the CEO versus Human CEO lens, helping readers connect ambition with the realities of energy, relationships, and meaning.

The undated format is deliberately non-linear, allowing users to return to it without the pressure of maintaining a perfect sequence. It provides enough structure to support a complete year while allowing users to begin at any time.

The Serendipity Club Extends the Philosophy to Children

PSH is also developing The Serendipity Club, a forthcoming children’s book.

Across ten illustrated chapters, The Serendipity Club follows eight girls as they explore feelings, friendship, boundaries, confidence, courage, creativity and belonging. Inclusive representation is woven naturally throughout, reflecting different cultures, bodies, abilities and ways of experiencing the world.

Twenty-seven adaptable activities across nine chapters offer sensory, creative and reflective ways to engage, welcoming also neurodivergent children and different learning preferences and levels of understanding. Nine affirmation pages and an original seven-track music collection extend the experience beyond the story.

The project reflects Naoum’s belief that practical tools can support different stages of development. The same holistic philosophy applied to a hotel or professional career can also inform the way children are given language and frameworks for understanding themselves and their relationships with others.

The Serendipity Club is described as a forthcoming expansion of PSH rather than a separate venture disconnected from its existing work.

Hospitality Education Designed to Connect the Departments

Education forms another pillar of Penny’s Serendipity House through the forthcoming ‘The Six Figure Hospitality Playbook’ online course.

The programme is a practice-led hospitality education experience that brings together sales, marketing, PR, revenue, operations, contracting, partnerships, business development, AI, leadership, and professional positioning into one integrated framework.

It is designed for multiple career stages: newcomers can build a broad understanding of how hospitality businesses operate, professionals can transition between departments, and experienced practitioners can develop a wider commercial perspective for consultancy or leadership roles.

This cross-departmental approach reflects Naoum’s own career across multiple areas of hospitality rather than a single specialism.

The Six Figure Hospitality Playbook is a forthcoming PSH education expansion, with the prelaunch & waiting list going live in early September 2026.

Building a House With Many Doors

Penny’s Serendipity House represents the next stage of Naoum’s professional development, bringing together her commercial background, education, authorship, and interest in human growth.

The model reflects her career across disciplines and her recognition of connections between industries and responsibilities.

“Growth is strongest when it is intentional, holistic and human. That is the idea behind every door in the House,” Naoum said.

Through its consultancy, The Serendipity Agenda, forthcoming children’s publishing, and hospitality education, PSH serves different audiences while retaining a consistent philosophy.
