-- Nicola Court, a fertility-trained acupuncture specialist committed to holistic wellness, has transformed her personal challenges into a beacon of hope for women struggling with health issues, particularly focusing on period pains.
Nicola Court's journey began in 1997, working as a photographer, until unforeseen circumstances led her to discover her passion for healing. Following a sudden redundancy in 2000, Nicola embarked on a transformative path, enrolling in night school to study massage therapy at Harlow College. This marked the genesis of her pursuit of complementary healing modalities.
Driven by a relentless commitment to expand her knowledge and skills, Nicola pursued a degree in Traditional Chinese acupuncture at the LCTA College, accredited by Portsmouth University. Graduating in 2007, she dedicated herself to providing relief to individuals suffering from a spectrum of ailments, with a particular focus on issues affecting women's health.
Recognising the need for a more comprehensive approach, Nicola furthered her education by obtaining a Masters in Traditional Herbal Medicine from Westminster University, graduating in 2016. Her personal struggles, including living with dyscalculia, fuelled her determination to advocate for marginalised voices in healthcare.
Throughout her journey, Nicola Court has championed the cause of women's health, challenging the status quo of conventional medical practices. She believes in offering personalised care and support, emphasising emotional well-being alongside physical healing. Her dedication has yielded tangible results, with numerous testimonials attesting to her transformative impact on the lives of her clients.
In her 24th year of practice, Nicola Court is poised to launch a revolutionary Chinese Medicine product range aimed at women struggling with period pains, further solidifying her commitment to holistic wellness.
Reflecting on the support she offers, Nicola shares: "My hope is to be a stable force in the uncertainty and insecurities of life's emotional rollercoaster. I strongly believe that couples are pushed down the IVF route often unnecessarily. They don't have the correct tests or assessments done to find out what is really causing the issues. Let's not forget that male factor can account for up to 30% of fertility issues. Often, if you can address the diet, lifestyle, stress levels, and potential underlying hormonal imbalances, then natural conception is possible!"
One of Nicola’s clients adds: “You actually played a big part in changing my life to be fair. I think of you often when I consider excellent health care professionals. You were a role model for doing it right.”
As Path To Wellbeing continues to flourish, Nicola Court invites individuals to join her in embracing holistic wellness and advocating for a more compassionate approach to healthcare.
