Jindong, hometown of renowned musician Shi Guangnan, leverages its cultural assets of "Ai Qing's poetry and Guangnan's music" to create contemporary cultural landmarks. Upholding the spirit of "cherishing culture and forging ahead", it is building a core cultural hub in west-central Zhejiang.
The event was grandly inaugurated at the China Wuyue Theater. Outstanding musicians from across the province delivered heartfelt performances of classic works such as ”If You Want to Know Me ”and”Affectionate Land”, carrying forward the musical spirit of "creating for the people and singing for the era". Concurrently, the awards ceremony for the 15th Zhejiang Selection Competition of the Golden Bell Award, the 9th Zhejiang Youth Singers Competition, and the 4th Youth Instrumentalists Competition was held. As an important segment of the event, the launching ceremony of the Jindong Practice Site for the "Rural Revitalization Music Common Prosperity Corridor" was also held on the same day. During this period, a hundred musicians went to the "Baxian Jidao Common Prosperity Corridor" in Jindong for on-site visits and creative work, carrying out musical assistance. Relevant person in charge of the Zhejiang Musicians Association stated that in-depth cooperation will be carried out with Jindong District. Taking the "Baxian Jidao Common Prosperity Corridor" as the core area, through means such as forming professional teams for on-site guidance in villages and developing musical cultural and tourism products, the "Art Takes Root" plan and the pilot construction of the province's Rural Revitalization Music Common Prosperity Corridor will be solidly carried out, so as to build a creative platform for literary and artistic talents from all walks of life.
