-- Google.org has announced its 2025 Generative AI Accelerator cohort, with Paritii named a flagship North American participant among 20 global organizations tackling societal challenges like education equity.

Developed by Paritii, Swyft is an AI-powered student success platform that automates high-volume administrative processes in higher education—ranging from registrations and financial aid workflows to compliance reporting. Swyft helps under-resourced colleges better support both staff and students by leveraging a generative AI agent powered by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-enabled large language models.

Swyft’s key features include:

  • 24/7 AI-powered academic assistant
  • Private student workspaces
  • Administrative processing with up to 85% time savings

Paritii aims to serve 200,000 students by the end of the six-month accelerator and reach over 2 million within two years. The platform’s implementation is expected to  improve student satisfaction and retention exponentially.

Leading this effort is Dr. Shmona Simpson, Founder and CEO of Paritii and a recognized leader in responsible AI. With experience in data-driven, equitable solutions, she ensures Swyft’s automation enhances fairness and strengthens institutional capacity.

“Today’s students need real-time, personalized guidance to navigate increasingly complex academic paths,” said Dr. Simpson. “Swyft was designed with colleges and universities to do exactly that—scale support without overwhelming staff, using ethical AI as a force multiplier.”

The Google.org Generative AI Accelerator is a $30 million initiative that provides selected organizations with:

  • Grants of $500,000 to $2 million or more
  • Google Cloud credits for AI tools, including Vertex AI and Gemini
  • Expert mentorship and engineer-led product sprints

Swyft’s inclusion in the “Knowledge, Skills & Learning” stream reflects its mission to transform higher education through accessible, equitable, and AI-powered support.

Paritii has set clear, quantifiable goals for the duration of the accelerator:

  • 85% reduction in administrative processing times
  • 90% student satisfaction
  • 60% decrease in document-related queries
  • 15% increase in student retention
  • 200,000 students served by program’s end, with a two-year target of 2 million

Administrative burdens in underfunded institutions hinder student success, lowering retention and graduation rates. Swyft’s automation frees advisors to focus on meaningful, equitable student support.

With Google.org’s backing and Paritii’s focus on ethical AI, Swyft has the resources and momentum to reimagine student support at scale.
