Omphalis has launched dedicated iPhone and Android apps that extend its reading platform to mobile devices, enabling users to save, organize, and access articles, PDFs, books, podcasts, and videos with offline support.

-- UNITED STATES – August 18, 2026 – Omphalis, a comprehension platform developed by Voxiven LLC, has announced the release of its official iPhone and Android applications, expanding its reading and knowledge management experience beyond the web. The launch gives users access to a complete personal library on mobile devices, allowing content to be saved, organized, and revisited from almost anywhere.

Originally introduced as a web platform, Omphalis helps readers build a structured library from articles, PDFs, EPUB books, YouTube videos, podcasts, and personal voice notes. Rather than functioning as a traditional bookmarking service, the platform presents saved material in a distraction-free reading environment designed to make long-form content easier to navigate.

The mobile applications integrate with native sharing features on iOS and Android, allowing users to save content directly from browsers and supported apps. Articles appear in a simplified reading format, while supported PDF documents are optimized for mobile reading.

Audio and video content can also be reviewed through searchable transcripts that distinguish between speakers, helping users locate specific discussions without replaying entire recordings. According to the company, the apps are intended for students, researchers, professionals, and lifelong learners who regularly work with long-form material.

“A library you can only visit at a desk is a library you stop visiting,” said Stanly Thomas, founder of Omphalis. “I built the web app first, because that is where the slow careful reading happens. But I watched my own saved list get longer while I read almost none of it. The twenty free minutes I actually had were on a train with a phone in my hand, and everything I had built was on a laptop at home.”

Offline access is another major addition. Users can download saved materials for reading or listening without an internet connection, while highlights, notes, and annotations synchronize once connectivity returns.

Omphalis is designed to support deeper understanding rather than replace reading with short summaries. The platform preserves context, organizes related materials, and helps users revisit important ideas over time. As a personal library grows, Omphalis surfaces meaningful connections between saved resources.

The mobile applications are available through the company’s free plan. A limited-time Founding Membership includes 90 days of Premium access. Omphalis also offers a web application and browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox.
