Dr. Bui, a board-certified psychiatrist, will be offering virtual psychiatric services to patients aged 4 to 45, providing accessible mental health support across the region.
Dr. Bui is a second-generation Vietnamese American, born and raised in Orange County. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California, Irvine, followed by a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. From a young age, Dr. Bui gravitated towards counseling, the arts, and science, viewing psychiatry as the convergence of all three, allowing him to provide care while engaging his passions.
"I chose a career in psychiatry because I believe that early interventions can decrease suffering," says Dr. Bui. "There is a great need right now for mental health guidance that is insightful and conscientious, and I want to be on the frontlines of providing that kind of care."
Dr. Bui is passionate about seeing his patients develop insight and make incremental improvements over time. By extending compassion and providing education about diagnoses and treatment, he establishes trust, leading to rewarding therapeutic relationships with better outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr. Bui enjoys playing music, writing, cooking, and spending time with his family, both nuclear and extended.
