-- Northern Ankle & Foot Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Georgia Xenophontos, DPM, to its practice beginning August 4, 2025. This expansion reflects the practice’s long-standing commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered podiatric care to the Manhasset community and surrounding areas.
Dr. Xenophontos joins the team with extensive training in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. A graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University, she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Most recently, she completed her residency as Chief Resident at Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish, North Shore University, and Valley Stream Hospitals.
Her clinical expertise includes advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, ankle trauma and fracture management, as well as a strong focus in diabetic wound care, limb salvage, and complex wound management. Dr. Xenophontos is recognized for her dedication to both surgical excellence and compassionate patient care.

Northern Ankle & Foot Associates maintains staff privileges at Northwell’s North Shore, Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Hospitals, as well as at St. Francis Hospital. The practice continues to welcome new patients and referrals with a promise of collaborative, seamless care.
