With a dedication to growing the amateur game throughout the UK, two long-time Scottish golfers have opened Golf Opens, a brand-new digital platform. This website aims to encourage amateur golfers to participate in more open competitions and to become a part of the growing scene. It does this by helping them find and book competitions around the country with ease.
Designed to be as easy to pick up and use as possible, GolfOpens.co.uk has already encouraged more than 400 clubs around the UK and Ireland to sign up. All of those clubs have their own detailed listings on the website, and with them, they have added more than 3000 competitions in the year 2024 alone. The team behind the site is dedicated to getting even more clubs to sign up to help continue to grow the amateur golfing community.
Open golf competitions offer a fun and exciting way to play golf courses at significantly reduced green fees, and the site aims to help players find those close to them.
