New Book “Unshakable Resolve” Debuts as Fund-Raiser for Haiti

Book by Gordon Stewart and others recounts an inspiring four-day adventure in Haiti on behalf of a leading Christian charitable organization.

The new book, "Unshakable Resolve," by Gordon Stewart and 14 other contributors, has launched today for sale as a fund-raiser for poverty relief aid to Haiti through Compassion UK. The book recounts a four-day "life changing" adventure in Haiti by the author and fellow volunteers from Compassion UK, a Christian charitable organization devoted to lifting children out of poverty. All proceeds from sales of the book will go to the organization’s continuing children’s charitable work in Haiti.

"This book tells a story that you won’t soon forget," said Stewart. "Haiti is a country that has the strength to carry on despite so much adversity. We can help, though. That’s the idea behind using the book as a fundraising vehicle."

Stewart is part of the leadership team at Gate Church International. He is an author and speaker who is known for "Positioning People for Purpose." He presents on a variety of leadership topics, including entrepreneurship.

In addition to Unshakable Resolve, Stewart’s upcoming books include "Called to confidence – Encouragement for the timid to break out of fear, overcome lies about who they are, rise in faith and courage to overcome and fulfill their dreams" and "100 Fold Return," a true account and guide of how to take an idea, develop it into a reality and multiply its profit many times over. "Two fat pastors formerly known as," which Stewart co-authored with Jimmy Dowds, tells of his one year journey he took to reclaim the mountain of health.

Compassion UK is known for giving children living in extreme poverty brighter futures by encouraging people across the world to become their sponsors. Their world-class programs give kids a safe place to play, the chance to go to school and the opportunity to see a doctor when they’re sick. Independent research shows that Compassion-sponsored children are more likely to be employed as adults, and leaders in their communities and churches.

The book is selling for 5.55 GBP (About $7.00 US). Proceeds to Compassion UK will be net of bank transaction fees.
