Netstar IT Support London Awarded with Best Newcomer at Duo Security Partner Kick-off

Malcolm Diack, Senior Strategist at Netstar has accepted the Best MSP Newcomer award on behalf of the company at the recent Duo Security Partner Kick-off event.

Netstar IT Support was recognised by Duo Security (Duo) as ‘Best MSP (Managed Service Provider) Newcomer’ at their recent Partner Kick-off event. Malcolm Diack, Senior Strategist at Netstar attended the event as a guest speaker on a panel session and accepted the award on behalf of Netstar.

Duo provides an easy way for businesses to improve their cyber security. Simply put, Duo’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) requires users to input two methods of authentication (instead of just one) to verify their identity. This adds an extra layer of protection to devices and apps – safeguarding against hacking, phishing, social engineering and password brute-force attacks. Duo was acquired by Cisco in October 2018. Cisco is known for having the largest threat intelligence team in the world (outside of government agencies).

The annual event enabled Duo partners to share the latest information on the threat landscape and IT security best practices, in order to serve their clients in the best way possible. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the Duo partner community and learn more about Duo’s product roadmap. The award recognises the efforts Netstar makes with its clients to secure their networks and keep their businesses safe.
