She researched the modality, its benefits and the results it was producing worldwide. She trained in the original Bowtech® technique in Australia, the birthplace of Bowen Therapy. Lorna, now a certified and accredited Bowen Therapist, member of the Bowen Association UK and the Federation of Holistic Healers, is excited to introduce Bowen Therapy to the population of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and beyond. She is dedicated to spreading the word of Bowen, one of the world's fastest growing modalities, and how it can truly change people's day-to-day lives.
Malaysia's very first Bowen therapy clinic opened its doors in October 2015 and in less than one year the numbers who have discovered the Bowen technique has increased tremendously. Winning 2015/2016 Malaysia SuperBrands award for Alternative Health and Holistic Therapies, the clinic, has gone from strength to strength. Lorna Mair has treated people of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, and has experience in treating a variety of conditions ranging from backache to learning difficulties. She is very excited to introduce more people to the benefits of Bowen.
Malaysia has welcomed the inaugural Bowen Therapy courses in My Bowen Therapy clinic in the Kuala Lumpur location and will hopefully have its very own government regulated Bowen Therapy Association, and fourteen new therapists qualified to practice in Kuala Lumpur and beyond.
