The Memory Building Company, a family-owned business, is delighted to announce the release of its new Wonderstruck app, which will bring a hi-tech twist to its recently launched music box, according to the brand.
The company’s jewelry boxes, which were co-designed with the family’s 8-year-old daughter have quickly become a popular purchase on Amazon among grandmothers, aunts and mothers looking for traditional gifts for girls.
Owner of the Memory Building Company, Katherine Phipps, used her background as a clinical psychologist and child development expert to create thoughtful gifts that carry an important message to help little girls to grow.

The company says that the Wonderstruck app, which is free to download for Apple and Android devices, allows children to enter a world of magic and wonder. Through augmented reality (AR) technology, the characters in the products animate and appear as if they are present in the room.
“We created Wonderstruck as an extra-special feature for our products,” Phipps says. “The app works with all of our products, including our 7-foot wide Superhero Party Backdrop, which becomes a giant cinema screen for an epic Superhero film. Photos and videos can be taken while using the app and easily shared with friends and family, a great way to document precious memories.”
There are two options available for the music boxes: a unicorn gifts themed box and a ballerina box. The latest AR technology will project a magical unicorn that talks and gallops or a dancing and chatting ballerina on the lid. As a bonus, each unicorn and ballerina jewelry box comes with a matching bracelet and necklace set for an all-in-one gifting solution.
