Motor Museum 3D Virtual Tour goes live

The Motor Museum of Western Australian has launched a 3D virtual tour enabling visits from around the world online.

In response to the restriction of movements across the globe, the Motor Museum of Western Australia has partnered with eventspace3D to create an amazing 3D Virtual Motor Museum Tour for enthusiasts to visit the museum online.

Likely to be a first of its kind in Australia, the Motor Museum has today opened its virtual doors to the rest of the world to share its expansive collection of historic and contemporary vehicles.
Showcasing over 200 two and four wheelers from the pioneering Ford Model T that shaped the landscape for mass produced cars, to the iconic rally car Subaru WRX, the 3D virtual tour allows visitors to explore the entire museum from their smart devices, TV, home computers or tablets. Captured entirely in 3D, the virtual tour provides an experience similar to actually walking through the space, but with the ability to see under the hood and a selection of vehicles in 360 view of inside the cabin, and specific information on each vehicle.

Exciting inclusions of this tour include viewing the engine of each car and a 360 panoramic view of the cabin of selected vehicles, something that even locals don’t get to experience. The team at the Motor Museum WA wanted to made sure this 3D tour really stood out.

“We needed a new way to engage with visitors, given that throughout several shutdowns in the past year, the actual physical visitor numbers had become much less steady,” says Patric, the manager of the museum. “After much trial and error during the creation of the virtual project, we are pleased to turn on the switch, and we look forward to delight visitors from all around the world, many of which whom would otherwise never have been able to come through the doors.”

Working with the amazing team at, the Motor Museum of Western Australia is pleased to offer the 3D tour to the world, and where each online visitor directly supports this volunteer run organisation.
