The Line1 is built around a stainless-steel brew path that replaces plastic components typically found inside pod brewers, keeping hot water and coffee away from plastic surfaces while supporting consistent extraction across compatible capsule formats. The system is compatible with Nespresso OriginalLine capsules as well as specialty options from independent roasters.
The new customizable configurations extend that idea beyond performance. Customers can select exterior materials including wood, metal, leather, and carbon fiber, along with interchangeable panels and detailing elements. Each custom unit is assembled and hand finished in Milton, Georgia, allowing for individualized configurations across different environments. The same flexibility also makes the platform applicable to hospitality environments, where in-room coffee service often relies on compact single-serve machines.
According to the company, the customization is intended to position the machine as a long-term fixture rather than a short-term appliance. The Line1 is designed to function as a durable countertop system, supported by a limited lifetime warranty. The company also positions the platform for use in hospitality settings, including hotel and resort environments, as part of its broader application strategy.
The platform supports espresso, coffee, and hot water from a single interface using metal controls designed for durability and simplicity.
Development of the Line1 followed testing across more than 200 specialty capsule roasters worldwide, which helped shape the machine’s compatibility and extraction approach. That process informed Milton Coffee Co.’s goal of expanding access to higher quality capsule coffee without sacrificing convenience across both residential and hospitality settings.
Customizable Line1 machines are now available through the company’s direct platform alongside its Signature and ready to ship Classic configurations.
