Kerry started her career in acting in the 1930's and went on to appear on radio, movies and television for decades. In fact everyone can still hear one of her many 'voices' on various Disney and other shows. Her most famous role was that of Tinker Bell in the Disney animated "Peter Pan" in 1953. She was the reference model for Tink (yes, that was her 'pout'). Kerry also modeled and voiced the red-haired Mermaid in the Disney "Neverland" series.

Margaret Kerry was originally named Peggy Lynch but, while working with Eddie Cantor and Joan Davis in the comedy-musical “If You Knew Susie”, Mr. Cantor encouraged her to take the stage name Margaret Kerry. So Margaret Kerry was ‘born’ as a teen ager.

Other appearances by Kerry included "Our Gang", "The Ruggles", "The Andy Griffith Show", and others. She provided voices for "Clutch Cargo", "The New Three Stooges", "Space Angel" and numerous other tv and radio shows. “The Charlie Ruggles Show” was one of the first network television sitcoms and, cast as the eldest daughter, Kerry was watched by the entire country as she grew-up over the years. In fact, the final episode, where she got married and went on her honeymoon, was a “major media event”.

Kerry also travels as a motivational speaker and celebrity. She is the guest speaker at dozens of events each year throughout North America. Venues include Mayberry Days, Supercon, Disneyana Fan Club Show and Sale, D23 Expo, and more.
