-- Mandarin Oriental's curated collection of the world's finest private vacation homes announces a strategic expansion in Greece with four new Exceptional Homes across Mykonos, Corfu and Lefkada. Casa Gaia, VAYRA, Villa Alice and SERENAOS deepen the collection's presence in one of the Mediterranean's most desirable destinations, establishing a distinctive portfolio spanning both the Cyclades and the Ionian islands.

The expansion reflects a focused approach to growth in Greece, bringing together architecturally significant homes in sought-after island settings, each selected for its location, privacy and ability to deliver highly personalised stays. From the raw, wind-swept beauty of Mykonos's northern coast to Corfu's olive-clad hillsides and Lefkada's tranquil, island-fringed Ionian waters, each home offers a distinct perspective on Greek island life, shaped by its architecture, landscape and relationship with the sea.
On the shores of Fokos Beach in Mykonos, Casa Gaia is shaped by a dialogue between architecture and landscape. Designed by renowned Greek architect Loukas Bobotis, the nine en-suite bedroom villa uses natural materials and a restrained architectural language to sit harmoniously within its rugged coastal setting. Days at Casa Gaia begin slowly, with morning coffee on the master suite's expansive terrace as the first light moves across the Aegean. Afternoons unfold between long swims in the 27-metre infinity pool and the villa's secluded stretch of shoreline, reached by a private path through the landscape. As evening approaches, guests gather for drinks beside the second pool before dining under the open sky and ending the night sharing stories around the fire pit.
In Corfu, VAYRA is carved into an 8,000-square-metre hillside, its architecture following the contours of the land towards panoramic Ionian views. Red rock uncovered during excavation inspired the villa's warm, earthy palette and was reused across its walls and pathways, rooting the design firmly in its setting. Gardens by award-winning landscape architect Eleni Tsirintani preserve centuries-old olive trees among indigenous planting and natural-stone paths, while subtle lighting transforms the landscape as evening settles over the hillside.
Also joining the collection in Corfu, Villa Alice is a contemporary coastal retreat designed around effortless indoor-outdoor living. Sunlit interiors open onto generous terraces and an infinity pool overlooking the Ionian Sea, creating an intimate island setting for families and groups.
Completing the new additions, SERENAOS occupies a private olive grove on Lefkada's peaceful south-eastern coastline. Designed by Greek architect Spiros Scafidas, the five en-suite bedroom waterfront home combines contemporary architecture with understated Mediterranean interiors. Light-filled rooms extend onto terraces overlooking the Lefkas Channel, Meganisi, Thilia and Scorpios, while an infinity pool, private bay, floating pontoon and boat fleet provide direct access to the Ionian Sea.
Each Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Home is individually and privately owned and has been meticulously selected for its desirable location, design, and ability to deliver Mandarin Oriental's legendary service, including a dedicated concierge to curate tailored itineraries, a private chef service to craft bespoke menus, daily housekeeping, and luxurious amenities.
This strategic expansion reflects Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes' continued focus on broadening its presence in destinations where exceptional architecture, natural beauty and privacy can be combined with highly personalised service.
“Greece is a natural focus for the continued growth of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes. These four additions allow us to offer a richer and more diverse expression of the country, spanning the Cyclades and the Ionian islands, while remaining true to the qualities that define the collection: exceptional design, extraordinary settings, privacy and deeply personalised service,” said Philip Leighton, Head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes.
