Malaysia’s Yelaoshr Education Group has earned international recognition as its groundbreaking project, From Educator to Edupreneur, was named one of the top 100 global education innovations in the HundrED Global Collection 2025. This prestigious accolade highlights Yelaoshr’s commitment to empowering educators and redefining the global education landscape.
The From Educator to Edupreneur initiative offers educators a transformative pathway to transition from traditional teaching roles to entrepreneurial ventures. By addressing challenges such as limited career growth and financial stability, the program equips educators with the tools to achieve professional growth and financial independence, setting a new benchmark for innovation in education.

Representing Yelaoshr at the HundrED Education Summit in Helsinki were its founder, Mdm. Yap Yee Yee, and CEO, Mr. Yap Wing Fai. The summit convened global education leaders to exchange ideas, explore Finnish education models, and discuss future-oriented strategies, including EdTech solutions and sustainable teacher development.
In recognition of Yelaoshr’s achievement, Encik Mohamed Ariff, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Helsinki, attended the summit to personally congratulate Mdm. Yap and Mr. Yap. Encik Ariff commented, “This recognition showcases Malaysia’s ability to contribute meaningfully to the global education landscape. Yelaoshr’s efforts to empower educators not only elevate the teaching profession but also set an inspiring example for innovative educational practices worldwide.”
Mr. Yap Wing Fai, CEO of Yelaoshr, reflected on the summit: “The HundrED Summit reaffirmed our mission to integrate innovation and technology into education. By focusing on EdTech solutions, we can reduce administrative burdens on educators, enabling them to dedicate their energy to teaching and inspiring students. Yelaoshr’s initiative has already made a significant impact in Malaysia. Operating across 70 centers nationwide, the program supports over 100 educators annually, helping them transition into roles such as certified teachers, trainers, center managers, and collaborative partners. The HundrED selection panel commended From Educator to Edupreneur for its innovative approach to merging education and entrepreneurship, offering a scalable model that benefits educators and communities alike.
