-- Luxen, a direct-to-consumer light therapy company, has released the Luxen Veil, a wearable facial light therapy device featuring 164 diodes across four wavelengths. The company has also introduced Luxen RedLight, a companion iPhone application that records device use.

According to Luxen, the Veil emits light at wavelengths of 460 nanometers, 665 nanometers, 850 nanometers and 1064 nanometers. The cordless, rechargeable device is operated through a single control and is designed for 10-minute sessions. Luxen RedLight is available at no charge through Apple’s App Store. The application allows users to record session length and frequency, maintain a personal progress-photo history and view consecutive-day usage counts. The application is optional, and the Veil operates independently of it.
“We designed the device and application to work together so customers can maintain a consistent record of when and how long they use the Veil,” said Vladimir Popov, founder and chief executive officer of Luxen. “Customers can also use the device on its own without connecting it to the application.”
Luxen’s product line also includes the Sculpt & Glow Wand, a handheld device combining LED light, microcurrent and heat, and the Luxen Roller Pro, a handheld massage device with a red-light function. The company also offers PRE-LIGHT, a copper peptide serum.
Luxen advises prospective users to review the applicable product instructions and safety information before use. People with photosensitivity, an existing skin condition or a prescription for medication that may cause photosensitivity should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using a light therapy device.
Availability
The Luxen Veil, Sculpt & Glow Wand and Roller Pro are available through the company’s Luxen Wellness collection and TikTok Shop, with shipping offered within the United States.
Eligible device purchases may be returned within 60 days, subject to the conditions and exclusions contained in Luxen’s published return policy.
The Luxen RedLight application is available for compatible Apple devices through the App Store.
