Crystal River, FL - Author and local businesswoman Mary C. A resident of Crystal River since 1988, she had the honor of caring for her "mother-in-love", who lived to the age of eighty-one (81). This placed her and her husband in the "sandwich generation" as they also cared for their two (2) young daughters.

This is the first in a series of books, that the author is publishing, dealing with aging, dementia, caregiving, and being prepared for these situations. Mrs. Schlumberger, has worked with her husband in their family owned accounting practice in both Butler, Pennsylvania and Crystal River, FL for thirty-eight (38) years total.
When the need arose for providing pickup and delivery services for their elderly clients, who could no longer drive, or were ill, Mary volunteered to perform this service.
She also works with fifty-five and over (55+) deed restricted communities to provide specialized accounting and support services.
