Little Sleepy Head knows the importance of a good night of sleep for a child’s health and happiness and when a child has been diagnosed with cancer, comfortable rest becomes all the more important. It is for that reason that the brand takes a portion of the proceeds from every sale they make and donates it to The Michael Hoefflin Foundation, which provides assistance to kids with cancer. —
Beyond the financial support, the company proudly donates pillows to be included in the “Kare Kits” that the non-profit provides to every child they help. These "kits" are special backpacks filled by volunteers. They contain practical items that help families (the kids and their parents) during a hospital stay.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer’s goal is to provide hope and comfort to the families of kids with cancer throughout their hospital stays and thereafter. They help families in Santa Clarita, California, as well as the surrounding area. The non-profit has already assisted more than 500 families and continues to provide its support every day financially and emotionally.
The Little Sleepy Head pillows are a perfect fit for the Kare Kits, as they are designed to be the ideal size for toddlers and small children. They were created by a parent of two boys for the purpose of overcoming sleep struggles. The pillows are 100% hypoallergenic and are made from 200 thread count cotton fabric which contains premium polyester cluster fiber fill that conforms to each child. This cradles the head and neck in a way that is unique to their individual needs. The pillows are also machine washable and dry-able which makes them very easy to clean.
Many kids find that these pillows are snuggly and just the right size to cuddle. They provide not only better sleep, but also comfort as they act as a "lovey".
Little Sleepy Head appreciates all of their customers and credit them for making it possible to participate in this worthy cause.
