Farah’s blog ‘Because Mom Says’ is packed with tips, reviews, recipes and advice - everything a busy working mom needs to stay sane and organized.
Farah has covered everything in her blog, from how to get dirty white Converse clean and activities for kids, to budgeting and personal finance, and ideas for working from home.
“I wanted to create something for women like me – strong independent women who wanted to be successful and earn a good income but didn’t want to miss out on the special early years with the kids. I wanted to show women they can be great moms and wives, and still achieve in their careers.
“Because Mom Says is place for me to record everything I have experienced or been challenged by in one place and share the results and advice on how I got through it all. I know I am not the only one who has struggles, and I wanted other women to know they were not alone.
“I make sure it is fun and engaging, so women feel welcome and looked after among other women who are going through similar experiences as busy working moms.
“Having cheeky tips on how to get stuff back to being white, or where to find free stuff to keep the kids occupied, or where to find the best mommy planners, all in one place is a breath of fresh air for many busy women who have not got time to hunt all this information down. I know I would have loved to have had that.
“I then help women with ideas for working from home. I did not want to miss out on precious moments with my kids and I found working from home was the perfect way to get a balance of my own financial and career independence, without sacrificing time with the kids. There are so many working from home options available now, there is something for everyone,” she added.
