-- Lake Dow Club is pleased to announce that it has just reopened this season under new ownership and management. The facility is a members-only club which overlooks Lake Dow and serves families and individuals in McDonough, GA and the surrounding areas. The new responsive management team, Dynamo Pool Management has been hired to operate the facility. A number of additional changes to the club and its equipment are in place for the revitalized operation.
Some of the additional features which will be part of the operation during the 2016 season include a gate attendant daily and a lifeguard on weekends and holidays. Poolside chairs, tables, umbrellas, loungers, and tables have been replaced or refurbished. The tennis courts have been refurbished and restored. In the gymnasium, additional equipment has been purchased as well as installation of a television. For members and guests, free wi-fi access is available. There is a new access control system which includes access to the third floor through the elevator. The business center and conference center, also on the third floor, is accessible year around.
The facilities at Lake Dow include a 2100 square foot swimming pool as well as a toddler pool. There are two regulation tennis courts and an indoor fitness facility. Executive office and conference room facilities are available. Private membership is on a limited basis with first priority going to those who own homes in Lake Dow Estates or Lake Dow North. Home ownership is not a prerequisite for membership at the club however.
Provision for pool parties and for group events is spelled out in the policies and procedures placed on the website. The specifications and application forms for membership and for fees are also included on the website. The 2016 season begins May 20. and the calendar can be viewed on the website as well.
