Keiser University’s Doctor of Business Administration Program Approved by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs

Keiser University continues to expand the doctoral degrees offered by their Graduate School with the addition of a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Keiser University is pleased to announce that recently its Graduate School received notification of approval from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for its Doctor of Business Administration degree program.

“Keiser University’s undergraduate and MBA business programs were approved by ACBSP in 2014 and now the university has programmatic accreditation from the associate degree through the doctorate degree program in business,” stated Dr. John Jones, Associate Vice Chancellor of the Graduate School. Keiser University’s Graduate School offers doctoral and master’s degrees in fields that are vital to Florida’s diverse economy and global competitiveness.

As the Graduate School continues to grow, faculty and student research projects focused on effecting positive change have been published, while many others are in progress. In 2015, through state grant funding, Keiser University joined five Florida universities as part of the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System’s (FDLRS) Multidisciplinary Educational Services Centers. The grant is designed to provide services to teachers and parents in improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities. The work of the centers is to evaluate students and provide a range of services including diagnostic evaluation and consultation services for children and youth identified as having complex medical, educational, emotional, and/or behavioral problems.

Keiser University has grown from one student to nearly 20,000 over the last four decades. It was first accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in the 1980’s. In 2006, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) approved Keiser University to offer master’s degrees. In 2012, Level VI accreditation was attained signifying SACSCOC approval of KU’s expanded doctoral level degrees.
