Keiser University Students Begin Classes at New Port St. Lucie Campus

Keiser University is pleased to expand its presence after being in the Port St. Lucie, Florida community for nearly 20 years.

Keiser University is proud to unveil its new two-story, 74,000-square-foot campus at 9400 SW Discovery Way in Tradition. Capable of accommodating more than 1,200 students, the beautiful building is 25 percent larger than the old Port St. Lucie campus and boasts classrooms, laboratories, offices, an auditorium, art-filled walls and hardwood floors.

All faculty, staff and students who attended classes at the old Port St. Lucie campus have relocated to the new campus, about 10 miles west. The building is conveniently located on eight acres of land right off I-95 and has the space for about 500 additional students.

“After nearly 20 years on the Treasure Coast, our student population has continued to grow, and we decided this was an opportune time to upgrade and expand our facilities,” said Chancellor and CEO Dr. Arthur Keiser. “The new campus has an innovative design to ensure a learning environment conducive to student needs.”

For 40 years Keiser University has been a talent development leader providing over 100 doctoral through associate degrees in workforce shortage areas in Florida’s targeted industries, including the life sciences such as nursing, physician’s assistant, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, and information technology to name a few. The Port St. Lucie campus offers 40 undergraduate degrees and more than 20 graduate degree offerings.

“This new facility offers us more space for the degree programs currently offered at our campus and allows us the ability to explore additional offerings based on feedback we have received from our Advisory Board members,” stated Leslie Kristof, Campus President. “Additionally, we’ve been able to add a digital radiography machine in our radiology laboratory and added an additional high fidelity simulated mannequin in our medical laboratory.”
