-- Cloudbound, a new concept dedicated to hands-on learning and unstructured play for children ages 0–6, has announced the appointment of Josh Rathweg as Brand President.
A multi-unit Sky Zone franchise owner, operating ten locations across five states. He has been recognized as a top operator in the Sky Zone franchise system and has served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Franchise Advisory Council.
He is also a board member of Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.
"Josh has delivered outstanding results as a franchise owner, raising the bar for excellence across our network," added Hoffmann, CEO of Sky Zone. "His experience and results-driven approach will propel Cloudbound’s debut and ensure operational excellence as we establish the brand as a new standard in early childhood play."

Before his work in franchising, Rathweg spent over 13 years as an executive at the largest financial institution in the United States.
Rathweg holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and competed as a Division I soccer athlete. His involvement in philanthropy is partly inspired by his daughter’s recovery from a malignant brain tumor in early childhood.
“I look forward to supporting Cloudbound’s mission and helping to create a positive, engaging environment for young children and their families,” said Rathweg. “Hands-on learning and unstructured play are essential to early childhood development, and I am excited to help advance these values.”
Cloudbound aims to provide safe, inspiring spaces that foster curiosity, creativity, and growth in children from birth to age six.
