-- JETOUR unveiled its 2027 G700 hybrid SUV in China on Tuesday, combining equipment for off-road driving with a Huawei driver-assistance system. Deliveries of the Ark Edition have begun, the company said, while a separate Ark Edition features technology designed for travel on both land and water.

The company said the Ark Edition had completed a Yangtze River crossing and taken part in rescue operations on the Min River as part of testing of its amphibious technology. It presented “Emergency Navigation Experience” certificates to the first group of Ark Edition owners at the launch. The capability is intended to help in emergencies.

The 2027 G700 comes in five trim levels with five-seat or six-seat layouts. The specifications released at the launch describe updates to the exterior, cabin and driver-assistance equipment. The model uses the company’s GAIA architecture and Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 system, alongside cabin functions based on large AI models. Off-road equipment includes three differential locks as standard, an “18+X” system and “Conquest Mode”, with settings for deep snow, sand, mud and rocks. Other features include rollover suppression and a maximum wading depth of 900 millimeters. The wading figure describes driving through water and is separate from the Ark Edition’s amphibious capability. The hybrid system pairs a 2.0TD engine with a longitudinally mounted 2DHT transmission and P3 and P4 electric motors. Published performance figures include a combined range of 1,200 kilometers, acceleration from zero to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds and maximum engine thermal efficiency of 45.95%. The chassis has a hydroformed ladder frame with torsional stiffness of 10,000 newton-meters per degree. The passenger compartment frame is made entirely of hot-formed steel and has torsional stiffness of 22,300 newton-meters per degree. CDC damping and air suspension provide a height adjustment range of -50 to +90 millimeters.

The GAIA architecture brings together its Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O system, the hydroformed frame, intelligent differential locks and XWD-S all-wheel drive.

The SUV has a new grille, body-colored wheel arches and 20-inch wheels. Paint choices are Kunlun Grey, Motuo Black, Everest White, Qiangtang Silver and Gaoligong Green. Cabin equipment includes Nappa leather seats with ventilation, heating, massage and active side bolsters, second-row seats described as “zero-gravity”, a Lexicon 20-speaker sound system and ambient lighting with 64 color settings.
