Jeremy Schulman has announced his annual scholarship fund which consists of five (5) $1,000 awards to students who are First Generation Americans in the United States.

Everyone knows how challenging life can be for someone when funds are tight. The US government has been working hard to provide assistance to jobless citizens and immigrants, particularly those hit hardest by the pandemic. But this assistance does not reach all of the people, and it does not do enough to help. Many children of American immigrants are facing challenges in their education due to a lack of funds. However, there is a breath of fresh air from a concerned citizen, accomplished attorney, and founding member of Schulman Bhattacharya. Jeremy Schulman has announced his annual scholarship fund which consists of five (5) $1,000 awards to students who are First Generation Americans in the United States.

"I am pleased to announce a scholarship fund for current college students or high school students who plan to attend university. We want to raise awareness about the difficulties faced by first generation Americans in accessing higher education in our country. I would like to focus on helping the children of American immigrants who lack the means to pay for their education. I am hoping that other business leaders will join with me to help provide financial support to these aspiring students and future leaders. During my more than 23 years practicing law, I have worked hard on behalf of clients from all walks of life, across the country and around the world. I have seen hard working immigrants and the challenges that they and their families face. I have witnessed their financial plight. There is a need to assist the children of immigrants here in the United States. To apply for the scholarship, just visit our official scholarship page to learn mores”, said Jeremy Schulman.

"Everyone can attest to the fact that the costs of higher education have skyrocketed in recent years. Many students cannot afford to go to a four-year college at all, and others face distraction as they struggle to make ends meet while in school. To help these students, and to encourage other business leaders to pitch in, I have decided to offer the sum of $1,000 to five separate students as an annual scholarship fund. Hopefully, this effort can help defray the steep educational costs facing immigrant families," added Mr. Schulman.

Jeremy followed up by saying, "Providing a financial cushion for vulnerable college students is a way to enhance their performance and set them on a path for a prosperous life. Our decision to offer scholarship funds to first generation Americans is a move in the right direction."

Building a nation starts from encouraging young stars to go to school. Jeremy is trying to do his part to help these students. Hopefully, the scholarship will help immigrant families access higher education in the United States and raise awareness to this ongoing issue.
