The renowned firm highlights how its solution has been named a trendsetting product.

-- Innovative Routines International (IRI), a leading US data management Independent Software Vendor (ISV), is proud to announce that the updated Data Vault migration and generation wizard in its Voracity data management platform has been recognized as a “Trendsetting Product in Data and Information Management” by Database Trends and Applications (DBTA) Magazine.

IRI Software Solutions Director Lisa Mangino commented, “We believe that this wizard is a significant asset for Data Vault adopters.”

The IRI Voracity Data Vault Migration Wizard is precisely engineered to streamline the adoption of Data Vault architecture by facilitating the migration of relational database schema and data into Data Vault 2.0 (DV2) architecture. DV2, conceptualized by Dan Linstedt in 2000, is a hybrid data modeling methodology that leverages third standard form (3NF) and star schema to efficiently represent historical data from multiple sources while adapting to environmental changes. In addition, the firm offers insights on data wrangling tools and other insights.

Voracity, built on Eclipse, is a powerful data management software platform designed to handle data marshaling across multiple sources. It excels in data discovery, integration, migration, governance, and analytics activities, utilizing the robust data transformation engines of IRI CoSort or Hadoop. Furthermore, Voracity incorporates IRI RowGen componentry to generate safe and referentially correct test data.

The Voracity DV2 data migration wizard, initially introduced at the 2019 Worldwide Data Vault Consortium conference, has undergone significant enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience. This enhancement empowers database users to seamlessly convert RDBMS models to DV2-compatible models, replicate production data into DV2 schema, and populate prototype DV2 databases with realistic and referentially correct test data.

Additionally, users have the flexibility to customize and diagram satellite tables and business key assignments to meet specific requirements.

This sentiment is echoed by recent research reports from Unisphere Research, a division of Information Today, Inc., which emphasize the importance of adopting new approaches to managing, storing, and leveraging data for business applications and insights.

In addition, DBTA Senior Editor Joyce Wells says, " The world has changed, and with it, enterprise data requirements.”

Through this wizard, DV2 architects can harness CoSort's proven VLDB (Very Large Database) data movement and manipulation power, alongside Voracity’s rich DB administration, ETL, and test data workflow environment, coupled with its proven data subsetting, masking, and synthesis capabilities.

About Us: IRI, founded in 1978, is a leading US-based data management ISV with a global presence across 40 cities worldwide. In addition, the firm offers database wrangling tools for its customers. The company’s flagship product, Voracity, combines the unparalleled speed and versatility of IRI CoSort for data manipulation with a familiar Eclipse IDE for job design.
