Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.
If the past year has taught the world anything, it’s that things can and do change; and often quickly. Like the ocean itself, giant waves of change have crashed down on humanity’s way of life, but soon after, waves give way to peace. The Wave Clock is a breakthrough patented design that captures this inspiration in an effort to remind everyone to truly value time.
"Our inspiration for the Wave Clock was based on the shifts we observed during the pandemic - the perceptions and expectations of time that we once held were no more. Despite many experiencing the blurring of boundaries to mark time, many realized time as the most valuable currency,” says creator Jeremy Du on the inspiration behind the project. “When we count the minutes of each day just to get things done, we feel that time is constantly slipping away, but the wave clock is a constant reminder that time is all we truly have, even when it seems to constantly elude us.”
The Wave Clock offers a unique patented design handcrafted with high-end porcelain for a truly luxurious look and feel. The clock is offered in three different colors to ensure a perfect fit for any room.
“Our goal is to find supporters who have an appreciation towards minimalism. Reduced to the absolute functions of a clock while paying an ode to the inspiration of time and the ocean. At the same time, it offers a gorgeously unique approach to the expected functions of a clock,” adds Du. “Allow us to share our inspiration with the world. It is our hope that when others see our clock, they will return to the present time and reflect. It is this need to slow and savor, to be present, that keeps us moving forward.”
Wave Clock is currently live and available to support on Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/d-u/wave-clock-see-time-for-what-it-is
